Manchester Tank announces strategic shifts in production, simplified pricing to meet evolving customer needs

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Aug. 29, 2025 – Manchester Tank today announced a strategic shift in production at its Sri City, India, facility aimed at better aligning its operations with evolving market segments. As part of this shift, Manchester will reduce production of small propane cylinders for the U.S. market to focus on both industrial applications as well as international LPG segments.

The Sri City facility will play a central role in this transition, leveraging its advanced manufacturing capabilities to support these sectors’ growth across Europe, the Middle East and other global markets.

In a related move, Manchester Tank is excited to announce a new initiative to simplify pricing for its valued distributors and exchangers. Beginning Sept. 1, informational pricing for products will be available directly on the home page of the company’s web site (mantank.com), providing customers with immediate and easy access to information in real time.

According to de Lima, this enhancement is part of Manchester Tank’s broader commitment to innovation, service and support for the company’s distribution network. “We’re committed to making business easier for our partners,” he added.

The change is designed to streamline operations and enhance transparency with Manchester’s customer network, allowing distributors and exchangers to view current pricing without having to initiate a formal request for quotation or awaiting a response from customer support.

The new pricing display is mobile friendly and user focused, enabling quick access whether you're in the office or on the go. Pricing will be updated as necessary to reflect changes in market conditions, ensuring accuracy and relevance throughout the year.
