McWane Ductile New Jersey donates advanced emergency response equipment to support community in observance of First Responders Day

At the First Responders event on August 18, 2024, held in Shappell Park during the Phillipsburg Farmers Market, McWane Ductile – New Jersey made a donation to the community by providing a DJI Matrice 30T Thermal Drone to Phillipsburg's first responders.

This advanced technology will enhance the capabilities of the local emergency squad, especially in search and rescue operations.

“McWane is committed to keeping the Phillipsburg Community Safe,” said Director of Customer Service and External Affairs Kelly Bray. “We know that the drone search and rescue program being developed by the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad will support all local first responders and ensure their qualification to handle critical situations.”

In attendance of the event were the Phillipsburg Police Department, Phillipsburg Emergency Squad, Phillipsburg Fire Companies, Search and Rescue, Support organizations like B.A.C.K , government officials and many local agencies in support of the Touch of Truck event.
