Congratulations to Nathan Gentges for being appointed Treasurer of the VPPPA Region VII Board.
VPPPA regions are established to promote a constructive and productive dialogue between labor, management and regulators. VPPPA regions provide VPP outreach, worksite mentoring and education. Each region is headed by an elected board of directors that consists of occupational safety and health leaders from union and non-union VPP sites. The Region VII Board covers states Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.
After submitting an application for election and a letter of support from his manager, Nathan was nominated during the formal election process that took place during this year's VPPPA National Conference.
"Nathan's expertise in Health and Safety has been an asset to McWane and we look forward to seeing him apply his experience to positively impact our industry and continue making local connections with community leaders," said Vice President, Health and Safety Mickey Hannum.
